MSG RISING STARS
A team-based junior golf league designed to group players by skill level, not age, giving every golfer the chance to compete, improve, and have fun in a true league environment. Perfect for golfers who want competitive play in a team setting!
How Does This League Work?
STEP 1 - Player Evaluation
Before the season begins, all registered players attend a studio evaluation session with MSG coach Dave Myers. This allows us to assess skill level and create balanced teams.
STEP 2 - Team Placement
Players are placed onto teams based on ability level. Friend requests can be submitted during registration and will be honored when possible, but competitive balance will remain the priority.
STEP 3 - Team Practice Session
Each team will attend one studio practice session. This session covers rules, match format, and how players should practice during the season.
STEP 4 - The Season
Teams compete in weekly head-to-head matches over five weeks, followed by a championship week.

Spring 2026 Season Details
Season Level: Intermediate & Advanced Players
This Spring league is intended for Intermediate and Advanced players.
Intermediate players typically play from forward tees (2,400–2,700 yards) with some tournament experience, while Advanced players play from the second set of tees (2,700–3,000 yards) and have strong competitive experience.
Teams will be balanced using pre-season evaluations to ensure fair competition.
